Fuerteventura PWA Grand Slam - Race 10 Final
Slalom racing is "back and forth" between two buoys compared to "course racing" which has upwind and downwind legs over a "course" with many buoys.
While course racing needs special, large boards and sails to go upwind and downwind quickly, slalom racing is all about speed so the boards are smaller and faster, more like the boards us recreational sailors use to go fast.
This video shows the epic final of the tenth round of Slalom at the 2009 Fuerteventura PWA Grand Slam.
